Privacy policy

Your account and maps

We use your email address to manage your account. Saved maps, account names, email addresses and contact messages are encrypted in the application database. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Private maps are accessible only to their owner.

Necessary cookies

A session cookie protects sign-in and forms. If you choose “Remember me and this device for 14 days”, a separate revocable token keeps the device signed in. Cookie preferences are remembered in this browser for up to 180 days. A necessary preference cookie also tells the server when statistics have been switched off.

Statistics and optional analytics

First-party aggregate statistics count page loads, downloads and other site actions without visitor identifiers or analytics cookies. They do not measure unique people. When basic statistics are enabled, Matomo runs without analytics cookies and Google Analytics can send limited Consent Mode signals before acceptance, if these integrations are configured. Google Analytics cookies are used only after permission. Reject all or switching off Basic statistics stops further measurements, including the site counters. Your map content is never sent as a statistics event. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie preferences in the footer.

Contact security

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent abuse. Cloudflare processes technical information needed for this security check.

Retention and rights

You can export your saved map data and delete your account in My account. Contact messages and aggregate statistics are removed according to the retention periods configured by the operator. Contact the operator for other privacy requests. Hosting logs and backups have separate retention controlled by the hosting provider.
